Football stars and club have taken to their various social media platforms to celebrate the festive period by wishing their fans across the globe Merry Christmas.
Most of them will be preparing to return to action for their various outfits, especially Premier League players on Boxing day. However, they took time out of their busy schedules to send warm wishes to their supporters during the period.
Arsenal star Granit Xhaka and a few other Gunners teammates decided to play their own version of Jingle Bells, one of the favourites carols for the season.
Goalkeeper petr Cech, Lucas Toreira and two other stars participated in the exciting move to celebrate the season with their fans. Paris Saint Germain stars led by Di Maria, Gianluigi Buffon and Thiago Silva surprised four children by giving them autographed jerseys.
Former Juventus goalkeeper, Buffon dressed as Santa while the above named footballers came in to gift the kids the presents.
Former Manchester United and Juventus left back Patrice Evra also joined in the felicitation by personally dropping a message for his fans on social media.
The 37-year-old while posting his message on his official Twitter handle added a caption saying: “I am the real Santa, so don’t be jealous”
